Hieno 2.0 works differently from a classic DMA card: instead of imitating a device with firmware, it sits in front of a real PCIe device — a network card, sound card, capture card or M.2 SSD — and runs as that genuine hardware. There is no firmware to flash or keep updated, and you can even run your games from an M.2 SSD connected through it.
